Team Information Centre

The Team Information Centre is located in the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel to answer any questions about EUC Rowing.

Team Managers / responsible persons (max. two per university) are asked to come to the accreditation at the Team Information Centre first – there we will announce the accommodation for your team.

Accreditation procedure

The accreditation is located on the first floor of the Courtyard by Marriott Hotel (upstairs right next to the desk of Team Information Centre).The opening hours are the same as of the Team Information Centre: Tuesday 12:00 – 21:00, Wednesday – Saturday, 8:00 – 21:00; Sunday, 9:00 – 12:00

Each university should send max. two persons responsible for the accreditation of their university. These two need to bring all the listed documents and information of every team member.

Make sure that your responsible university or association has paid the participation fee in advance. To proof that, please bring a transfer receipt. If the payment has not been done in advance, it has to be done in cash - it is not possible to pay by credit card or debit card!

Following payments need to be done:

Participation Fee: 65 € per person, per day; at least four days

EUSA Entry Fee: 30 € per participant.

Accommodation security deposit: 200 € per team, which means per university; this deposit will be returned by bank transfer, not in cash.

All accommodations are public hostels and hotels - to make sure that all rooms handed back properly, each team (means university) has to pay a deposit for the rooms.

Like the participation fee, it should be paid by bank transfer to our account:

Because time is short, please bring a transfer receipt as a proof of payment with you in any case. Otherwise, you need to pay the accommodation deposit in cash during the accreditation.

The accreditation procedure will be divided into four stages:

First stage: Registration desk:
It will be checked if all participants are declared correctly

Needed documents and information:

- A list of all team members

Second stage: Finance desk
It will be checked if all payments are correct. If payments are incorrect, the payments will be resolved at this stage.

Needed documents and information:

- Transfer receipt as a proof for payments that are already done
- Enough cash to pay open invoices 

Third Stage: Allocation of the Accreditation IDs
Identity check with the passports or IDs (bring originals!)
Payment of the EUSA Entry fee
Verification of the photos

Needed documents and information:

- Passports of all team members
- Student IDs of all athletes or
- Certificate of Academic Eligibility of all athletes
- Cash to pay the EUSA fee (30 € per person) if not paid by bank transfer

Only if all three stages are approved by signature and stamp, the Accreditation IDs will be handed out!

Fourth Stage: Accommodation
Participants will receive their accommodation.

Needed documents and information:

- Transfer receipt as a proof of payment for the accommodation security deposit – if already paid in advance. Otherwise, you need to pay the deposit in cash.

Accommodation deposit: 200 € per university; this deposit will be returned by bank transfer, not in cash.
If you lose your Accreditation ID, you can get a new at the Team Information Centre. We reserve the right to charge a handling fee of 50 € for it.


The official currency in Germany is the Euro. Credit cards have a low level of usage by Germans as most pay by cash and therefore not all shops accept credit cards.

In general, banks are open from 8:30/9:00 am until 4:00 pm. Outside banking hours you will find ATMs on nearly every street corner, most of which are linked to international networks such as Cirrus, Plus, Star, Maestro, Visa and MasterCard.
